Haitham Farouk: "I Don't Understand Why Regragui Didn't Call Up Hrimat to the Moroccan National Team; He's the Best Midfielder on the Continent, and the Ball Leaves His Foot with Precision."
Haitham Farouk, a beIN Sports analyst, commented on the outstanding performance of Mohamed Rabie Hrimat, captain of AS FAR, after he led his team to qualify for the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League at the expense of Egyptian club Pyramids FC.
During his analysis of the match, Farouk stated: "Hrimat is one of the best players in Africa. I follow him closely. He was the best player in the Moroccan league, in CHAN, and won the Golden Ball at the Arab Cup."
He continued: "Honestly, I don't understand why Regragui hasn't called him up to the Moroccan national team. He is the best midfielder in Africa, and the ball leaves his foot with such precision."
Farouk added: "Hrimat knows when to receive the ball and when to press. Even in the goal, he stood firm and placed it in the difficult corner. He is a fantastic and exceptional player."
AS FAR's qualification came after their 2-1 victory in the second leg of the quarter-finals, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
