
Rahouli: "We Will Go to Casablanca Aiming for Semifinal Qualification"
Salah Eddine Rahouli, an Olympique Safi player, confirmed after the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final against Wydad AC, which ended in a 1-1 draw, that the team was determined to achieve a positive result at home and keep a clean sheet, but conceded a goal in the match.
Rahouli, who scored Olympique's equalizer, stated: "We were determined to achieve a positive result on our home ground and we wanted not to concede any goals at home, but what God willed happened. We apologize to our fans for this point, and God willing, we will go to Casablanca to put in all our effort, make our fans happy, and qualify for the semifinals, because Olympique Safi deserves a lot."
The player added that the team's focus will now be on the return leg, with the hope of achieving qualification and continuing their journey in the Confederation Cup.
