Ecuador Coach: "Match Against Morocco Will Demand Our Utmost; Atmosphere Will Be Similar to World Cup"
Ecuador national team coach Sebastián Becaccese spoke about the importance of the upcoming match against the Moroccan national team, as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup. He emphasized that this friendly encounter, much like their match against the Netherlands, will be more than just an ordinary game.
During a press conference, Becaccese stated: "These matches will greatly benefit us in trying to impose our conditions and directions, regardless of the result." The Ecuador coach added: "They are two matches that will demand our utmost. The atmosphere surrounding these two encounters will be very similar to that of the World Cup."
He continued: "This will allow us to draw conclusions and determine the direction for the preceding two months, when we gather in May."
The Ecuadorian national team is scheduled to face Morocco on March 27 in Spain, with kick-off at 9:15 PM (21:15 GMT).
