Wahbi: 'We All Experienced Shock in the Final, No Major Revolution Expected for Morocco'
Mohamed Wahbi, the new coach of the Moroccan national team, affirmed during his introductory press conference today that the "Atlas Lions" will not undergo any technical revolution. He emphasized the importance of continuity in their work following the challenging experience the team faced in the recent Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Wahbi stated: “We all experienced a shock as Moroccans during the final. However, what is important now is to continue, and to rely on what is solid, convincing, and reassuring for the players. I already possess good information, and there are solutions for all problems. I am confident in the team's ability to move forward.”
The new coach added: “It is not enough to analyze matches based solely on what we witnessed on the field. We must conduct an in-depth analysis of the current situation and then make appropriate decisions. However, I do not believe a major revolution will occur within the national team.”
Wahbi hopes to guide the Moroccan national team towards enhancing their technical readiness ahead of upcoming competitions, while maintaining team stability and adopting a gradual approach to technical development.
