Carrasco Dismisses Hamdallah Rift: 'No Issue Between Us, I Assisted Him Last Match'
Al-Shabab player Yannick Carrasco has issued decisive statements to put an end to rumors of a dispute between him and his teammate Abderrazak Hamdallah, following their match against Al-Hilal in the 24th round of the Saudi Pro League.
Speaking to the media, Carrasco affirmed that all reports regarding a crisis were untrue, stating: "There is absolutely no problem with Abderrazak Hamdallah."
Carrasco also pointed out that he provided an assist to Hamdallah during the Al-Hilal match in the Roshn Saudi League, adding: "We are focused on the team's upcoming matches."
The Belgian player then discussed the details of the game, explaining: "After falling behind at the start of the second half, we opened up the field to try and come back, which left spaces for Al-Hilal to score. The coach asked us to focus from the first minute to the last, but after falling 5-2 behind, we lost our concentration."
Al-Shabab had suffered a 5-3 defeat to Al-Hilal in their previous Roshn Saudi League match, a game that saw great excitement and numerous goals from both sides.
