Hamdallah Named Man of the Match, Turns Tables on Jordan to Secure Morocco's Second Arab Cup Title
Abderrazak Hamdallah was named "Man of the Match" in the final of the Arab Cup (Qatar 2025) after spearheading the Moroccan national team to their second title in the tournament's history, defeating the Jordanian national team.
Hamdallah's recognition came in acknowledgment of his remarkable performance in the final. He entered the match as a substitute with 18 minutes left in regular time and went on to score two decisive goals. His first was an equalizer in the 87th minute, sending the game into extra time, before he netted the winning goal in the 100th minute.
With this achievement, Hamdallah played a pivotal role in securing Morocco the title of the eleventh edition of the FIFA-sanctioned Arab Cup. This marks the Kingdom's second title, following their initial triumph in 2012.
Hamdallah's brilliance in the final was a continuation of his significant impact throughout the tournament, having previously stood out as an effective substitute in the match against the UAE.
