
Moroccan Women's National Team to Play Two Friendlies Against Burkina Faso on February 27 and March 3
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has announced two friendly matches for the women's national team, as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) finals, which Morocco will host.
The "Atlas Lionesses" will face Burkina Faso on Friday, February 27, and Tuesday, March 3. Both matches are scheduled to kick off at 10:00 PM at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat.
The Moroccan women's team recently concluded a training camp at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora, Salé. Head coach Jorge Vilda Rodríguez called up 32 players for this preparatory gathering.
It is worth noting that the Kingdom of Morocco will remain the host of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held from March 17 to April 3 upcoming, with the participation of 16 African teams.
The Moroccan women's team is currently in Group A alongside Algeria, Senegal, and Kenya.
