Raja Club Athletic Contacts Refereeing Directorate Protesting Decisions Against Ittihad Tanger, Demands Technical Clarifications
Raja Club Athletic issued an official statement on Tuesday, announcing its objection to certain refereeing decisions made during their match against Ittihad Tanger, part of the 13th round of the "Inwi" Professional League.
The Green Club specifically highlighted its protest against a refereeing decision concerning an incident that occurred in the 55th minute of the match, which Raja won 2-0 last Sunday.
In its statement, the club asserted its disagreement with the offside decision, indicating that available technical data demonstrates there was no offside position.
The statement further added that a challenge inside the penalty area should have resulted in a penalty kick for Raja, in accordance with the laws of the game.
The club clarified that this objection is part of its commitment to safeguard its rights and defend its interests through appropriate legal and institutional channels. To this end, Raja CA sent an official letter on Monday to the head of the National Technical Directorate of Refereeing, requesting technical explanations and data related to these incidents, in accordance with established procedures and regulations governing the work of refereeing institutions.
