Raja Returns to Winning Ways, Beats Ittihad Tanger to Share Top Spot with MAS, Wydad, and CODM

Raja Club Athletic returned to winning ways on Sunday evening, securing a 2-0 victory over their visitors Ittihad Tanger in a match from the 13th round of the Professional League.

Defender Abdellah Khafifi opened the scoring with a header in the 23rd minute of the first half, giving his team an early advantage. Yahya Ighiz then sealed the victory by adding the second goal in the seventh minute of injury time.

Ittihad Tanger's player El Waghiri was sent off in the 31st minute, forcing the Tangier side to play the remainder of the match with ten men. This incident further solidified Raja's superiority throughout the game.

With this victory, Raja Club Athletic increased their points tally to 23, placing them level with Maghreb Fez (MAS), Wydad Athletic, and CODM Meknes at the top of the Professional League standings.
