Hakimi's Lawyer: "We Await This Trial with Determination for Justice"
Fanny Colin, the lawyer for Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, affirmed that she and her client are awaiting this trial for justice to be served, following the Paris Saint-Germain star's referral to the criminal court on rape charges.
Commenting on the decision, Fanny Colin stated: "We await this trial with determination and a fighting spirit for justice to be served."
She added: "A trial order was issued based solely on the accusations of a woman who obstructed all investigations, refused all medical examinations, DNA tests, and a review of her mobile phone, and declined to disclose the name of a key witness."
The lawyer continued: "Two consecutive psychological evaluations of this woman revealed her lack of clarity regarding the facts she claims to be reporting, in addition to the absence of any post-traumatic stress symptoms. All of this occurred while she attempted to conceal several messages exchanged with a friend, in which she was planning to 'extort' Mr. Hakimi."
Speaking to "France Inter" on Tuesday, Hakimi's lawyer clarified that she would appeal the request to refer her Moroccan client, Hakimi, for trial.
