Victor Font Unveils Proposed Barcelona Sports Management Team

Victor Font, a pre-candidate for the presidency of Barcelona, has revealed his proposed sports management team should he be elected president on March 15. The team comprises Carles Blanсhart, Albert Puig, and Francesc Cos, who will be responsible for the club's sporting aspects. Font noted that the sports director would be announced later due to their current contractual obligations with another club.

Font clarified that the tasks of this proposed team include suggesting potential players and technical staff for recruitment. In this context, he stated: «We will transition from having zero executives to four, and one of them will be responsible for the sporting side of negotiations and will oversee these three individuals who will be in charge of football.»

Font also affirmed that this approach aims to achieve stability and enhance professionalism within the club. He added: «This should allow us to provide stability and increase the club's professionalism. We want to lay the foundations to ensure we reach the final third of the season alive in all competitions.»

The members of the proposed team, Carles Blanсhart, Albert Puig, and Francesc Cos, possess extensive experience at Barcelona. They have previously been part of the technical staff for coaches such as Pep Guardiola or Luis Enrique, or were responsible for youth football at the club.
