Ounahi Continues Absence, Girona Coach Confirms Unavailability for Barcelona Clash

Girona coach Michel Sanchez announced that Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi would miss the match against Barcelona in the 24th round of La Liga, due to not being fully fit to play.

Michel stated in the pre-match press conference: "Ounahi will be absent from the match. He participated in part of our training sessions, but the impression is that he still needs the most important part, which involves more difficult training. For this reason, he will not be available yet."

Ounahi had returned to Girona's collective training a few days ago, after being sidelined since his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Moroccan national team due to an injury.

The match between the two teams will take place today, Monday, starting at 8:00 PM (GMT+1), at the Montilivi Stadium.
