Ait Ourkane Discusses Anticipated Large Al Ahly Fan Turnout at Cairo International Stadium
Khalid Ait Ourkhan, a player for AS FAR, acknowledged that the absence of fans in the last two matches against JS Kabylie and Young Africans was impactful. However, he noted that the team managed to deliver an excellent performance, especially in the challenging encounter against Young Africans, which AS FAR won, securing second place in the group.
Speaking ahead of AS FAR's clash against Egyptian giants Al-Ahly in the sixth round of the CAF Champions League group stage, Ait Ourkhan added: "We are aware that Al-Ahly's fans will be present in large numbers, but we are confident in the support of our own fans, whether in Morocco or during African matches, who always stand behind the team. We will strive to deliver a great performance and make everyone happy."
AS FAR is scheduled to face Al-Ahly tomorrow, Sunday, at Cairo International Stadium, with kick-off set for 4:00 PM, in the final matchday of the group stage.
