Al Ahly's coach, Jess Thorup, affirmed that his team will play a difficult match against AS FAR in the final round of the CAF Champions League group stage, noting that his objective is to secure the top spot in Group B.

The Dane stated in a press conference: "We have already qualified for the quarter-finals, but our goal is to win every match. We realize that facing AS FAR will be difficult because our opponents need a positive result to qualify for the next round."

He added: "Our first objective was to qualify for the quarter-finals, and that has been achieved. Now we are looking forward to our second objective, which is to secure the top spot in the group."
