Emam Ashour Returns to Al Ahly Training After Two-Week Suspension, Ahead of CAF Champions League Clash with AS FAR

Emam Ashour is set to rejoin Al Ahly's collective training sessions starting tomorrow, Friday. His return comes after he completed a recent suspension period, and he is expected to bolster the team's ranks ahead of their anticipated CAF Champions League clash against AS FAR.

The Al Ahly player will participate normally after serving the imposed two-week penalty, which involved both suspension and individual training. This disciplinary action was taken due to his failure to accompany the Al Ahly delegation to Tanzania for their CAF Champions League match against Young Africans.

In related news, head coach Jess Thorup granted the team's players a rest day today, Thursday. This comes after their two-nil victory over Ismaily at Borg El Arab Stadium in the 14th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Ahly is preparing to face AS FAR next Sunday in the sixth round of the CAF Champions League group stage. The match is scheduled to kick off at 4:00 PM GMT.
