Raphinha and Rashford to Miss Barcelona's Copa del Rey Semi-Final Against Atlético Madrid
Spanish club Barcelona has confirmed that its stars Raphinha and Marcus Rashford will not participate in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atlético Madrid.
Raphinha is sidelined due to muscle fatigue in the medial calf muscle of his right leg, the same injury that kept him out of previous matches. He was initially expected to return after about a week, but his recovery has taken longer than anticipated, ruling him out of the upcoming fixture.
Rashford missed training after sustaining a knock to his knee during Barcelona's La Liga clash against Real Mallorca last week. This had made his participation doubtful before the club officially confirmed his absence.
Barcelona is set to visit Atlético Madrid tomorrow, Thursday, at 21:00 GMT+1, for the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.
