Al-Wafi: "Tomorrow's Match Against Nairobi Will Be Difficult, But We'll Do Our Best to Return to Casablanca with Three Points"
Wydad Athletic Club player Ayman Al-Wafi expressed his expectations and ambitions for the upcoming match during a press conference held today, ahead of their encounter with Nairobi in the fifth round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Al-Wafi stated during the pre-match press conference: "We believe tomorrow will be a difficult match as we are playing away from home. However, as we've seen this week with the coach, we have studied Nairobi's strengths and weaknesses, and we will do everything in our power to return to Casablanca with three points, God willing."
He added: "The experience of playing in a major competition like this is a pleasure for me, and for Wydad as well, and we will try to achieve victory tomorrow."
Speaking about Hakim Ziyech, Al-Wafi said: "Ziyech, as we all know, is a great icon in Morocco, and I believe in Africa too. He has won a lot in Europe and is a great player, and we are very happy to play with him."
It is worth noting that Wydad Athletic Club will visit Nairobi United tomorrow, Sunday, starting at 2:00 PM (GMT+1).
