Adli: 'Sad to Miss AFCON, Hopeful for World Cup Return with Good Club Form'

Moroccan international Amine Adli discussed the difficulties he faced after his move to Bournemouth, while also expressing his sadness at missing the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025". Adli told his club's official website: "Football changes very quickly. One moment you're full of confidence, and the next you might find yourself in a difficult situation, so you always have to stay focused. Honestly, the start wasn't easy for me. Of course, I wanted to play more, but after every training session and every minute I participated in, I tried to show the coaching staff what I was capable of."

He added: "Decisions must be respected, and it's up to you alone to do everything you can to change the situation. It was difficult, but you have to give your all for things to happen."

Adli continued: "Some players left and others got injured, and I had to show what I could offer. I believe I've performed well during this run of matches. Now I'm happy to be playing regularly. My feeling on the pitch is better, and all I'm looking for is to deliver the best possible performance every weekend."

On the international front, Adli did not hide his sadness at missing the Africa Cup of Nations with the Moroccan national team. He stated: "I was very sad not to participate in the Africa Cup, but I understand it. The Moroccan national team has a strong squad, and you have to be at your best to be included in the list."

He concluded by emphasizing that his current focus is on excelling with his club, saying: "Now I'm focused on giving my best for my team. If I perform well, perhaps I'll return to the national team for the World Cup, and that's what motivates me. I will give my all for my team, and I hope we all succeed."
