Monaco Close to Securing Bensghir Loan from Bayer Leverkusen
AS Monaco's management is reportedly preparing to bring back Moroccan winger Elias Bensghir, who departed the French club last summer to join German side Bayer Leverkusen. His return is anticipated soon, following a semi-final agreement between the two clubs for a loan deal. According to French website "Foot Mercato," some final details are still being ironed out between the parties and the 20-year-old player.
Bensghir previously scored 15 goals and registered 9 assists in 85 appearances. Despite his move to the Bundesliga, he has not secured significant playing time since the start of the current season, which has fueled speculation about his potential return to France.
This potential return would be welcome news for AS Monaco, who have faced some challenges recently. Bensghir's rejoining the squad would bolster their attacking options, particularly given the current injury to player Minamino.
