Paris Saint-Germain Suffers Second Defeat, Marseille Poised to Challenge for Ligue 1 Lead

Paris Saint-Germain suffered their second defeat of the season in the French league on Saturday evening, losing 1-0 to hosts Monaco at the Stade Louis II in a match from Week 14.
The only goal of the match came in the 68th minute from Japanese international Takumi Minamino. Monaco finished the game with ten men after Thilo Kehrer was sent off in the 80th minute.
Paris Saint-Germain's points tally remains at 30, and they could lose their Ligue 1 lead to rivals Olympique Marseille if the latter defeat Toulouse later on Saturday evening (Marseille currently has 28 points). Monaco, meanwhile, increased their total to 23 points and now sit in sixth place.
