Victor Osimhen, the star of the Nigerian national team, affirmed his great respect for the Moroccan national team, noting that this respect is mutual between both sides, ahead of their anticipated clash in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals.

The Nigerian national team had qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals after defeating their Algerian counterparts 2-0 in a match hosted at the Grand Stadium in Marrakech during the quarter-final round.
