Trabelsi: "Nigeria's Goal Timing Impactful, Our Enthusiasm Surfaced Late"

Sami Trabelsi, coach of the Tunisian national team, discussed the defeat against Nigeria, stating that his team will now focus on their final group stage match against Tanzania.

The Tunisian national team lost 3-2 to Nigeria in their second group stage fixture of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Trabelsi told beIN Sports: "We lost many duels, especially at the start of the match. In the second half, we controlled the game better, but the timing of Nigeria's goals was impactful."

He added: "In the last half-hour, we showed enthusiasm and spirit, and we must find a reaction in the next match, especially after a poor first half. However, we will prepare well for the upcoming match against Tanzania."
