Mahrez Crowned 'Man of the Match' Between Algeria and Sudan

Riyad Mahrez was awarded the 'Man of the Match' accolade following the encounter between the Algerian national team and its Sudanese counterpart, which took place on Wednesday evening as part of the first round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.
Mahrez's recognition came after his standout performance in the match, where he scored two goals against Sudan in the second and 61st minutes.
Separately, the Egyptian national team secured an important 3-0 victory over Sudan, raising its points tally in Group E to 3, level with Burkina Faso.
