Mahrez Returns to Al-Ahli Training After Vacation Ahead of Raja Friendly

Al-Ahli Saudi's training session on Tuesday saw the return of Riyad Mahrez and Merih Demiral to the squad following the conclusion of their respective vacations. The duo underwent precise physical tests, similar to those completed by other players in the previous session, according to Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiah".

The same source confirmed that Al-Ahli's foreign player contingent is now complete and ready to participate in the anticipated friendly match against Raja Club Athletic, scheduled for Friday (18:00 GMT+1).

Al-Ahli will face Raja on Friday as part of the team's preparation program during the international break, which coincides with the Saudi national team's participation in the 2025 Arab Cup.

The Jeddah-based team currently sits fourth in the Saudi Pro League standings with 19 points after nine rounds. The technical staff aims to use the upcoming friendly to assess the team's readiness before the resumption of league competitions.
