
Al-Ahli Saudi Begins Preparations for Raja Friendly After 7-Day Player Break
Al-Ahli players resumed their collective training sessions on Sunday evening at the club's headquarters in Jeddah, following a seven-day break that coincided with the Saudi national team's participation in the Arab Cup, according to Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiah."
The newspaper reported that German coach Matthias Jaissle focused on improving the players' fitness levels and conducting several tactical drills, as part of preparations for the upcoming friendly against Raja, which will be held at the club's stadium on December 12.
Al-Ahli currently sits fourth in the Roshn Saudi League with 19 points and also holds fourth place in the AFC Champions League Elite with 10 points. The team is also preparing to face Al-Hilal in the King's Cup semi-final, scheduled for next February.
