Potential Reunion: Zviko Nears Al-Wehda Deal Ahead of Friendly Against Former Club Raja

The paths of Rosmir Zviko and Raja Club Athletic are set to cross again, just months after his departure from the Moroccan club. The Bosnian coach is reportedly on the verge of returning to the Saudi League, this time with Al-Wehda.

This development coincides with Raja's upcoming training camp in Saudi Arabia, which includes two friendly matches against Al-Wehda and another against Saudi Al-Ahli. Raja is scheduled to begin their camp with a match against Al-Wehda on Wednesday, December 8. This timing could see Zviko, in his very first days with Al-Wehda, face a team he knows intimately, a detail confirmed by the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiah."

Zviko had managed Raja Club at the start of last season but departed prematurely following a string of inconsistent results. His tenure concluded with a decisive three-nil defeat against Ittihad Tanger, a match that reportedly accelerated the decision for his dismissal.

Prior to his stint in Morocco, Zviko had coached numerous clubs throughout his career. His notable achievements include guiding Saudi Al-Orobah to promotion to the Roshn League, in addition to managing teams in China, Bosnia, and Croatia.
