Jordan Goalkeeper Urges Saudi Captain Al-Dawsari to Show Humility, Emulate Al-Qahtani

Yazeed Abu Layla, the goalkeeper for the Jordanian national team, called on Saudi national team captain Salem Al-Dawsari to show humility following the match between the two teams in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup.

Abu Layla explained, in statements made during the post-match press conference, that Al-Dawsari's behavior before the start of the match surprised the Jordanian players. He noted that Al-Dawsari did not greet them properly, which was unexpected from a player of his caliber and experience.

The 'Nashama' goalkeeper added that Salem Al-Dawsari is a great player on the field, but his status, according to Abu Layla, requires him to be humble. He urged Al-Dawsari to emulate Yasser Al-Qahtani, whom he described as a legend of Saudi football and a role model in ethics and conduct both on and off the pitch.
