
Arab Cup: Morocco to Wear Red, UAE in White
The Moroccan reserve national team will face their Emirati counterparts today, Monday, in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup, kicking off at 3:30 PM Moroccan time.
The "Atlas Lions" will play the match in red jerseys, while the UAE national team will appear in white, in what is expected to be a strong and competitive clash.
The Moroccan team has had an impressive run since the group stage, winning their first match against Comoros 3-1, then drawing 0-0 with Oman, before securing a 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in the final round. This saw them top their group with 7 points and qualify for the quarter-finals deservedly.
In the quarter-finals, the Moroccan reserve squad continued their strong performance by overcoming the Syrian national team with a clean sheet victory, securing their spot in the semi-finals.
As for the UAE national team, they reached this stage after defeating Algeria 7-6 in a penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw in both regular and extra time.
