Wydad Resumes Training Amidst Absence of Several Players

Wydad AC returned to training sessions yesterday evening, Thursday, following an 11-day break granted by coach Amine Benhachem to his squad, taking advantage of the professional league's hiatus.

The first training session for the "Red Castle" saw the absence of several players for various reasons. Wydad is without injured striker Hamza Hnouri, who is currently with the Moroccan B national team competing in the Arab Cup. Also absent are Mohamed Mofid and goalkeeper Mehdi Benabid, who are also participating in the same tournament with the national team.

Furthermore, Botswanan striker Tumisang Orebonye is absent after being called up to his country's final squad for the Africa Cup of Nations, alongside Stephen Aziz Ki, who is also part of Burkina Faso's squad for the continental event.

Brazilian duo Arthur and Pedrinho continue to be absent from training, as their future with the club remains undecided. They have not featured in any official match for Wydad since the start of the season.

The "Red Castle" is expected to intensify its preparations in the coming days, ahead of upcoming local and continental competitions.
