Wydad to Resume Training Next Thursday Ahead of Foreign Training Camp
Wydad Athletic Club is preparing to return to training next Thursday, following a rest period granted to players by coach Amine Benhachem due to the suspension of professional league competitions.
Benhachem had previously decided to give the team an 11-day break immediately after their return from Tanzania, where Wydad faced Tanzanian side Azam FC in the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage. That match concluded with the Red Team securing a one-goal victory.
Wydad will resume their preparations at the Wellness Complex, after which the team will enter a closed training camp outside Morocco, in anticipation of their upcoming local and continental commitments.
Additionally, Wydad plans to schedule a series of friendly matches in the coming period. This is aimed at maintaining their players' readiness and enhancing their physical and competitive rhythm before the official competitions resume.
