Slot Officially Excludes Salah from Liverpool Squad for Inter Clash

Coach Arne Slot has decided to exclude Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah from the Liverpool squad for their Champions League clash against Italian side Inter Milan. The match is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium (21:00 GMT+1).

This exclusion comes as a disciplinary measure following Salah's controversial statements made last Saturday, after Liverpool's 3-3 draw against Leeds United. Salah had expressed his dissatisfaction with being benched for three consecutive matches.

Salah had previously caused a significant stir by stating that Liverpool's management had not kept their promises to him when he renewed his contract last April. He added, "It seems someone doesn't want me at the club. I don't accept this situation."

It is worth noting that Slot has benched Salah in five matches this season across both the Champions League and the English Premier League.
