
Liverpool Stunned at Anfield by Nottingham Forest, Suffer Sixth Defeat in Seven Games
Liverpool's struggles continued on Saturday as they suffered a heavy 0-3 defeat at Anfield against Nottingham Forest in Matchday 12 of the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest ended the first half with a clean sheet and a one-goal lead, courtesy of Brazilian defender Murillo, who scored in the 33rd minute.
In the second half, as the Reds pushed for an equalizer and sought a victory, the visitors delivered a decisive blow, scoring their second goal just seconds after the restart through Nicolo Savona. Morgan Gibbs-White then added a third in the 78th minute.
This marks Liverpool's sixth defeat in their last seven matches (with only one win), leaving them stuck on 18 points in 11th place. Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, climbed to 16th position with 12 points.
