Iraq Secures Arab Cup Quarter-Final Spot After 2-0 Victory Over Sudan

The Iraqi national team has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup following a two-goal victory over their Sudanese counterparts. The match, part of the second round of the group stage, took place today, Saturday.
A goalless draw dominated the proceedings for much of the game until the 81st minute, when Mohanad Ali scored Iraq's opening goal. His teammate Amjad Attwan then added the second goal in the 84th minute.
With this result, the Iraqi national team now leads Group D with 6 points. Algeria sits in second place with 4 points, while the Sudanese team is third with one point. Bahrain occupies the last position with no points.
