
Iraq Kicks Off Arab Cup Campaign with 2-1 Victory Over Bahrain

Iraq secured a 2-1 victory over Bahrain in their opening match of the Arab Cup group stage. The game took place on Wednesday at Stadium 974.
Iraq opened the scoring in the 10th minute with an own goal by Bahrain's Ibrahim Khalil Lotfallah. Aymen Hussein then doubled Iraq's lead in the 25th minute, assisted by Mohanad Ali.
After the break, Bahrain managed to pull a goal back in the 79th minute, scored by Sayed Hashem Isa.
With this result, Iraq now tops Group D with three points, while Bahrain sits at the bottom of the group with no points.
