
Arab Cup: Oman Loses to Saudi Arabia (2-1) Ahead of Friday's Morocco Clash
Saudi Arabia defeated Oman 2-1 in their opening match of the Arab Cup group stage on Tuesday.
Firas Al-Buraikan opened the scoring for Saudi Arabia in the 55th minute, before Ghanim Al-Habashi equalized for Oman in the 70th minute.
Saudi Arabia secured their second goal in the 77th minute, sealing a 2-1 victory.
Following this result, Morocco leads Group B with three points, ahead of second-placed Saudi Arabia on goal difference. Oman occupies third place, while Comoros is fourth with no points.
Oman is set to face Morocco in the second round of the group stage next Friday, with kick-off scheduled for 3:30 PM (GMT+1).
