Ittihad Tanger Officially Appoints Spanish Pepe Mel as New Head Coach

Ittihad Tanger has officially announced the appointment of Spanish coach Pepe Mel, who takes over from Hilal Al-Tayr after the national coach's contract termination.

The Tangier-based club introduced Mel through a presentation video shared on its official social media platforms, though the duration of his contract was not disclosed.

Mel brings a wealth of experience, having previously managed several Spanish clubs including Tenerife, Almería, Málaga, Deportivo La Coruña, Real Betis, and Las Palmas. He also had a stint with English side West Bromwich Albion and, more recently, with Greek club OFI Crete.
