El Saktioui: "We Know What Awaits Us in Arab Cup, Will Spare No Effort"

Tarik El Saktioui, coach of the Moroccan national reserve team, affirmed that the team's success in the Olympics and CHAN competitions places additional responsibility on the players. He emphasized that the national squad will spare no effort to meet the expectations of Moroccans.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of the Comoros game, El Saktioui said: "Our success in the Olympics and CHAN creates pressure on us in terms of responsibility, not negative pressure."

He continued: "The pressure stems from knowing what awaits us, and that we must rise to the occasion. We understand the value of the national flag, and we enter the match with a mindset that 40 million Moroccans are awaiting joy and pride."

El Saktioui concluded: "I hope God grants us success, and we will spare no effort to meet everyone's expectations, especially those of our King Mohammed VI."

The Moroccan national team will kick off its tournament campaign tomorrow, Tuesday, facing Comoros at 1:00 PM (GMT+1).
