Lekjaa Criticizes Refereeing in Morocco vs. Brazil U17 World Cup Match: "Mistakes Made Despite Efforts"

Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, criticized the performance of the refereeing team during the U17 national team's match against Brazil in the quarter-finals of the U17 World Cup.

Lekjaa's remarks were made during his speech at an international conference held at the Mohammed VI Complex, titled "Sport as a Lever for Promoting Human Rights: Its Impact on Societies."

Lekjaa stated, "Despite all the efforts, there are still matters far from complete objectivity."

He concluded by saying, "Without going too far, I will say that sometimes there are judgment errors, the latest of which occurred in the match between Morocco and Brazil."
