Al Ahly's Sherif Praises FAR Rabat: 'Historic Moroccan Club, We'll Prepare Well'

Al Ahly forward Mohamed Sherif has praised Moroccan club FAR Rabat ahead of their CAF Champions League group stage clash.

Al Ahly began their CAF Champions League group stage campaign with a dominant 4-1 victory over Algerian side JS Kabylie, a result that saw them top Group B.

Speaking to beIN Sports, Sherif said: "Thank God we started the group stage with an important win, and thank God for the result. It's important to start with a victory, especially since the match was played on our home ground."

He added: "FAR Rabat is a historic and big team in Morocco. We will rest tomorrow and then immediately begin preparing well for the match."

FAR Rabat is set to host Al Ahly on Friday, November 28, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM (GMT+1) at Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
