Ouzane: "Mali Will Seek Revenge, But We Are Ready to Win; I Hope to Be at My Best"

Abdallah Ouzane, a player for the Moroccan U17 national team, affirmed that the upcoming match against Mali in the FIFA U17 World Cup Round of 16 will not be easy. He noted that their opponents will be seeking revenge after their previous loss to the "Atlas Cubs" in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Speaking to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation about the previous encounter against the USA, Ouzane stated: "It was a difficult match, but we feel we delivered a good performance. We knew we had to fight together, and I am happy to have scored the winning goal in the last minute."

He added: "Now, our full focus is on the Round of 16 match against Mali. We know Mali is a strong team; we faced them in the Africa Cup of Nations, and it was a tough encounter. We won against them then, which will make them even more eager to win now. It will be a strong match, and we must be ready for it."

Ouzane continued: "I am confident that we are ready. The atmosphere within the team and among the staff is excellent. We have taken an important step, and we are prepared for the upcoming challenge, always aiming for victory. I'm not just speaking for myself, but for all the players."
