Morocco U17 Players Set Sights on World Cup Title, Aim to Emulate U20 Success Against USA
Players from the Morocco U17 national team have expressed their determination to secure a victory against their American counterparts. They also stated their ambition to emulate the success of the 'Atlas Cubs' by winning the U20 World Cup title.
In a press statement, Elias Arabawi said: "The coach spoke with us, and we watched matches of the Moroccan national team. We want to forget the previous two encounters against Portugal and Japan. Our primary goal from the outset has been to reach the final, win the title, and repeat the achievement of the Morocco U20 national team."
Mounsef Zakari added: "We have prepared exceptionally well for this match. We are in excellent condition and highly motivated to win. We analyzed videos and trained with great focus and attention. God willing, we will win this game. The coach explained exactly what we need to do, gave us clear instructions, and provided us with significant motivation. He was truly like a leader."
The Morocco U17 national team is set to face their American counterparts tomorrow, Friday, at 16:45 GMT+1. The match, part of the Round of 16 in the Youth World Cup, will take place at Pitch 7 within the Aspire Zone in Doha, Qatar.
