Peruvian Kevin Ortega to Referee Morocco vs. USA U-17 World Cup Clash

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has appointed a referee from Peru to officiate the match between the Moroccan U-17 national team and its American counterpart in the Round of 16 of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Sources have revealed that FIFA has appointed referee Kevin Ortega to officiate this match, assisted by his compatriots Leonard Soto and Jose Castillo.

Chile's Fernando Vegar will serve as the fourth official, while his compatriot Juan Serrano has been appointed as the fifth official for the encounter.

Ortega previously officiated the Moroccan team's match against Portugal in the group stage, which ended in a six-goal defeat for Nabil Baha's side.

The Moroccan national team will face its American counterpart tomorrow, Friday, at Pitch No. 7 in the Aspire Zone, starting at 16:45 (GMT+1).
