Pablo Franco: "MAS Deserved Victory Against FAR, We Scored a Valid Goal"
Spanish coach Pablo Franco, manager of Maghreb Fez (MAS), expressed his regret after his team's goalless draw against FAR Rabat on Sunday evening, in the eighth round of the Botola Pro "Inwi" league. He emphasized that MAS deserved to take all three points from the match.
Franco stated in a press conference after the match: "I don't think any team performed as well as we did against FAR Rabat. We had many chances and scored a goal that I believe was valid. We fought fiercely against a team considered the closest to winning the title, and we proved that we are capable of competing with the big teams."
He added: "What the team is doing currently is very positive. In just four months, we have managed to build a new group of young players. We haven't lost any match, and we've secured 16 points, though we could have had more, because we play beautiful football in all our matches."
The Maghreb Fez coach concluded his statement by saying: "I am very proud of my players, but at the same time, I feel a bit sad because we deserved to win this match."
