Benhachem on Confederation Cup Draw: 'We Are Not Afraid of Any Team as We Are Title Contenders'

Amin Benhachem, coach of Wydad AC, affirmed that his team is ready to face any opponent in the CAF Confederation Cup, as they are strong contenders for the title.

Speaking to the press after their 2-1 victory over Hassania Agadir in a postponed match from the sixth round of the Professional League, Benhachem said: "We hope our fans will support us in our first group stage match (CAF Confederation Cup) so we can achieve positive results."

He continued: "We must know how to manage matches across all competitions, and we hope to secure victories in our first three Confederation Cup encounters."

He added: "I am not concerned with the level of the clubs in our group; what matters most to me is the travel distance. We had hoped for shorter distances. In terms of technical level, we are not afraid of any team, and we are ready to face any opponent because, God willing, we are title contenders."
