Wydad AC coach Mohamed Amine Benhashim expressed his satisfaction with his team's 2-1 victory over Hassania Agadir on Wednesday evening, in a postponed match from the sixth round of the Professional League. He highlighted that the encounter was not easy and that certain details complicated the team's task on the field.

Benhashim stated in his post-match press conference: "We made the match somewhat difficult for ourselves, as we could have sealed it earlier. However, we experienced a defensive imbalance due to the absence of some key players, which affected us defensively, especially in terms of playing the ball out from the back."

The coach added: "Lamirat, as a midfielder, had to drop back, which is a slightly different role for him. But generally, there are tough matches you must win regardless of your form and avoid dropping points, and this is the strong character of a champion."

Benhashim affirmed that the team was at risk of conceding a goal at certain moments due to a dip in performance. However, the players' spirit and fighting mentality were crucial in securing the victory points, despite the intensity and pressure of the fixtures.
