Wydad AC Climbs to Professional League Summit After 2-1 Victory Over Hassania Agadir

Wydad AC ascended to the top of the Professional League standings after defeating hosts Hassania Agadir 2-1. The match took place on Wednesday at the El Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia, as part of a postponed fixture from the sixth round of the local league.
Aziz Kei opened the scoring for the "Red Castle" in the 6th minute, before Yahya Jabrane added the second goal in the 12th minute.
Hassania Agadir managed to reduce the deficit just four minutes later, with Mohamed Khabbachi scoring in the 16th minute.
With this result, Wydad AC climbed to the top of the Professional League standings with 17 points, two points clear of second-placed Maghreb Fez (15 points). Hassania Agadir, meanwhile, occupies tenth place with 7 points.
