Marquinhos on Hakimi and Dembélé's Injuries: "They Underwent Some Quick Tests, Updates Will Be Provided Later"
Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos confirmed that teammates Achraf Hakimi and Ousmane Dembélé underwent some quick medical examinations, with the results of these tests pending.
Speaking to "+Canal" after the 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the fourth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Marquinhos stated: "Losing at home is always difficult. We must assert ourselves and perform better. We played against a well-organized team, especially physically."
He added: "We couldn't impose our style of play. There are positive aspects to take from this match, as the team still has ambition, but we need to be better. They were superior to us, and in the second half, we were better, but the red card affected us."
Regarding the injuries to Dembélé and Hakimi, Marquinhos commented: "We have to wait for the results of the examinations. They underwent some quick tests. Updates will be provided to you later."
