Damia: We Defeated a Great, International Team, and They Will Remain Great Despite the Loss; 'We Would Never Call Raja a Weak Team'

Hicham El Demii, coach of Kawkab Marrakech, expressed his happiness following the 2-0 victory over Raja Club Athletic, affirming that the Green Team will remain a great club regardless of their loss in this match.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, El Demii stated: "We entered the match very well, and our focus was high from the start. We knew Raja is a patient team. I thank the players for their great efforts, and I also thank the fans for their support and pressure; we felt as if we were playing in an English stadium. This is a step that brings us closer to our goal, and I hope we maintain the same focus and fighting spirit."

He added: "This is a victory against a great and international team. In football, we must realize that we defeated a great team, and they will remain great despite their loss. One must be humble in moments of victory, and we hope Raja regains their strength, as they are a team that has honored Morocco on many occasions."

He concluded: "Raja cannot be described as a weak team; they have distinguished players. 'God forbid we call Raja a weak team.' Perhaps they were not at their best today, and we also performed poorly in our match against Ittihad Yacoub El Mansour."
