Diallo Confirms French National Team Bonuses to Be Finalized Before US Trip

Philippe Diallo, President of the French Football Federation (FFF), announced that a final agreement on World Cup bonuses for national team players is nearing completion. This matter is expected to be fully resolved before the squad departs for the United States on June 10.

This step aims to ensure team stability and provide the players with the appropriate environment to focus on their sporting mission at the global event.

Diallo explained that discussions with the players took place in a completely calm atmosphere, noting that the national team members presented a concrete proposal on the matter. Diallo stated, "We had very calm exchanges with the players, who consulted among themselves and presented me with a proposal."

The FFF President also emphasized the mutual desire to definitively close this file, saying, "We hope that both sides will completely finalize this matter before the team travels on June 10."

Additional rounds of discussions are expected early next week to put the finishing touches on the agreement. Both the football authority and the players aim to conclude the bonus issue to avoid any mental distraction during official competitions.

This approach is intended to allow the squad to fully concentrate on the technical and tactical aspects under the supervision of the coaching staff before the start of the major challenge.

As part of their field preparations, the French national team will play a friendly match against Northern Ireland in Lille on Monday before heading to their training camp in Boston, USA. The team is scheduled to kick off their World Cup campaign against Senegal on June 16, followed by matches against Iraq on June 22 and Norway on June 26, all within the group stage.
