Mbappe Leads France Squad Negotiations with Federation Over World Cup Bonuses
Kylian Mbappe has resumed his duties as captain of the French national team, currently leading the final preparations for the upcoming World Cup.
Didier Deschamps, the French national team coach, confirmed that Mbappe is in optimal physical and mental condition, enabling him to lead the team in the global competition. He emphasized the player's ability to separate his club and national team commitments.
In this regard, Deschamps stated: "He is in peak fitness, both physically and mentally. The club is one thing, and the national team is another, and the player fully understands what the World Cup means."
Mbappe is currently leading active negotiations with the French Football Federation, representing his teammates on outstanding administrative matters, primarily focusing on player bonuses and family tickets for the tournament.
This initiative, spearheaded by the captain, aims to reach a final agreement and settle all matters by June 9, ensuring the players can fully focus on the competitions before heading to Boston directly the following day.
